Assessment Criteria and Tasks for IB Diploma Theatre:

• Task 1: Production Proposal (SL & HL) – Develop a detailed proposal outlining your vision for staging a production, including directorial choices, staging techniques, and artistic intentions for the piece.

• Task 2: Research Presentation (SL & HL) – Deliver a presentation analyzing a global theatre tradition, demonstrating your understanding of cultural contexts and performance practices.

• Task 3: Collaborative Project (SL & HL) – Work with a group to create and perform an original piece of theatre, showcasing your creativity, teamwork, and practical performance skills.

• Task 4: Solo Theatre Piece (HL only) – Create and perform a solo theatre piece inspired by a specific theatre theorist, demonstrating a deep application of their concepts and ideas.
